I was having a chat the other day with a conservative republican friend of mine. We don't normally discuss politics and such but this day, we did. She said, "our country was founded on Christian principles!" I replied, "what might those be? Slavery and oppression of women? You're right. Those are Christian principles."
She looked at me, blankly.
It's true though. If we look at the folks that "built" the US, most were racist and sexist. So, tell your conservative friends and family that they are right- the US was in fact built on Biblical "principles."
Oh, the irony of life right?
