What's the point of this life in Christianity?

So you have been given proof of God, and you want to be treated better? How does God treat you badly?
In my situation I could not treat my family better than God treats me.

If you actually treated your family members with the same abuse and neglect that God heaps upon humanity, you would be on death row. States without it would make exceptions for you.

We are only to be as forgiving as we want God to forgive us.

What strings do you attach to your forgiveness? Is being the bigger man and forgiving without conditions or some other kind of tradeoff beyond God's capabilities? That's pretty pathetic, because I've done it quite a few times.
