I think most atheists are more interested in knowing what is true than they are in the truth turning out to be any certain way. That shoe is probably on the other foot.

If God (or gods) were a fact I'd want to know it. Not because I'd necessarily change the way I live my life. I just like to understand this world in which I live. If God is a part of it, lets flush her out where we can all see her. If you can't get her out in the open and I can't find her, I'm just going to have to go on believing in the godless world I know so far.
