Ever Had an Abortion?

I've had four friends who've had abortions. It's been over a decade for each of them since they've had abortions, and I'm only in touch on a regular basis with two of these friends, and they have not 'recovered.' They still mourn the loss. It was a loss, even though it was a choice. I don't want to get into an abortion debate, but it's a tremendously difficult decision, each of my friends wrestled with it. We will be out somewhere, for dinner, whatever... and they will see children that might be the child's age of the baby they aborted, and this triggers a lot of pain and emotion for them. So, I've seen that up close, and it's just such a hard decision for anyone to make. My advice is to not judge anyone who's been through this, because it was FAR from an easy choice. Many people think women just hop on down to the doc to have a 'procedure' done,' and that's that. Back to life as usual. No, it's far from that.
