It's not the only measure but the fact that you willingly gave them up is a direct reflection on your manhood. It proves you have a lot of sissies over there.

Again with the strawman arguments. By your logic, I can say that having to obey a speed limit while driving makes you less of a man, that not being able to walk into a convenience store in flip flops degrades your human dignity, and that paying any kind of government tax infringes on your right to your hard-earned money.

Also, if you think men are upset, how do you think the women feel? This isn't about yours or anyone else's manhood. This is about saving lives. You still haven't given us any practical reason to tell us why private ownership of assault weapons could be helpful in deterring crime or gun violence. At least one person here has been honest enough to admit that they are fun. And I agree! They are completely fun! It's also fun to employ a grenade launcher, or to shoot a TACSAM, or to detonate unused ordnance. We should let people own those willy nilly based on the fact that they're fun, right?
