We say "we don't know, but this is what it looks like." We don't need a answer because we know we don't know enough. Yeah, it does kinda suck. But we don't have to release all of our fears by accepting a book. we keep looking
I should point out I am not one of those "the bible is false" guys. Because there may very well have been a flood. In fact I would suggest there was a flood. It may have been the biggest flood they ever saw. But there is no reason to take the book literally.
Dear "SaveByGraceThruFaith",
Your comment on the Big Bang Theory is spot on. You did a great job, keep up the good work.
actually he is wrong. He is not representing what we are saying he is showing us what he is afraid of.
our "faith" is based on what "god" is showing us.
You are basing yours on a man made book.
so, should we follow what "god" shows us or what a "man made book" said?
whats nice about our faith is that we can take ours anywhare and say here is our "faith". You take a look and decide for yourself. We kinda hope they prove us wrong because that is fun stuff ... this finding something new about "god". If he should exist.
The only thing written in stone is the rock record and it is in the handwriting of god himself
