A woman who worries about being raped is simply taking rational precautions about a very real possibility. A man who worries about being raped has issues with his own sexuality. This is because the statistics show 1 in 4 women will be raped in their lifetime (not accounting for how under-reported rape is as a crime). I haven't seen the stats on men but I'll go out on a limb and say it's much lower.

Almost as many boys (1 in 6) are sexually abused as girls (1 in 4).

Perhaps that's why men fear rape too, even if their chances drop drastically once they're adults.
