The New Covenant began some point after He declared, "It is finished".
Thus, there may have also been a change in the application of that red line of God that you are thinking about.
I don't know any other answer, maybe someone else does.
I do know there are testimonies of people who were just as filled with reviling as some here, and God pursued them and welcomed them to Himself just as relentlessly as those who had respect ,when they turned to Him also.
There is no "NEW" covenant!! Its just a covenant (another contract) that was made... the covenant that was made with Abraham did not end when a covenant was made with moses... and so on... they are a still covenants that are not ended... You need to study a weee bit more..
