It depends a bit for me, usually I do not talk about it. This changes quite quickly if people feel like they need to tell me about their wonderful god, or if they are trying to lecture me. As soon as someone starts to me about religion I see it as the green light to express my ideas about it.
I find it annoying when people try to force their ideas on me, and I do not want to be that annoying person to them. No matter how much I disagree with religion.
But I do agree with "millitant" atheism, I think now is finally the time that atheism can be a thing everyone can talk about openly, and people need to know there is another option besides religion, as in my opinion a lot of people do not know there is an option of not believing.
Also, a lot of people do not understand what it means to be an atheist. The ones who think we all pray to the devil should be informed that it is not correct.
