No because Moses opened his heart already to God.

According to the Bible Moses married the daughter of a Midianite priest.

Soon after, God instructs Moses to collect an army and destroy Midian.[10] The Israelites kill every Midianite male including Zur and four other named chiefs, and every woman who has slept with a man (Book of Numbers 31:17), but share out 32,000 girls who have never slept with a man as plunder (Book of Numbers 31:35).

This indicates that the Midianites didn't worship God. Moses was brought up in the Egyptian court, fled to Midian after killing an Egyptian and was there for 40 years before the burning bush incident. Where and when did Moses hear of God so he could open his heart to him?

He must have knew it already in his heart.
