Just to note, the Gospels were written decades after the alleged events by unknown authors. Why should they be considered reliable?

Faith is not a path to truth. Faith is indistinguishable from gullibility.
There are 1.5 billion Muslims and 1 billion Hindus that base their beliefs on faith.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
