Sometimes I think hide and seek is meant to teach children the best places to hide in case of home intrusion.
I resent the remark about chess.
Chess is awesome at times, I agree.
Hide and Seek gets better the older you get, because you can make up your own expansions for it. Turn all the lights off and get a fake knive and play murder in the dark. Same rules apply as hide and seek, but it's dark. Once that gets old then drive to creepy locations (creepy run warehouse/chunk of forest) to do it, and give the seeker a paint ball gun or something. After you graduate from that you and your buddy are ready for the real deal, and can go out with real weapons and find some poor innocent prey. It really does get better with age.
