Overrated games

Sometimes I think hide and seek is meant to teach children the best places to hide in case of home intrusion.

A few issues with that:

-The game is typically played out-of-doors, which obviates the need to hide from an intruder.

-The game is a very old one, and likely comes from a time when 'hovel intrusion' wasn't much of a problem (also, not many places to hide in a mud hut).

-Sardines would be better for this.

I resent the remark about chess.

*shrug* Resent whatever you like. I didn't say chess was a bad game or that people shouldn't play it, I simply listed it as 'overrated'. And it is - people make too much out of it and take it far too seriously.
