Overrated games

Halo is overrated.

1st one blew me away. The difference between ps1 and the next gen was astounding at the time (I too was around 12 at the time). I also liked the 4 factions all fighting each other thing (Humans, flood, covenant, sentinels), that takes some doing.

2nd and 3rd were ok, the retconning of the civil war was annoying though, what the hell ever happened with that.

The most recent one by the new company, halo 4, was terrible, even without the flood.

And yes Insanity, half of what made halo good was the music. 'On a Pale Horse' is awesome-sauce.

Never got into crisis (damn autocorrect), very meh for me.

Bungie did a good enough job that I'm more than willing to shell out for their next offering, Destiny. That it features the voice of Tyrion Lanister also helps.

And what's all this bollocks about them not being worth $60?
One, in Australia we're paying at least $90, even when we're at parity. Two, it depends on how long you're going to play the game. They often end up being much better value than movies.
