An ectopic pregnancy, to my knowledge, cannot be treated in a way that preserves the life of the unborn. It is a good example of an allowable "abortion". I don't really consider it an abortion because the termination of the fetus is a result of secondary effects or unintended consequences of a treatment of a life threating condition. An abortion is a conscious decision to kill another human being simply because that human beings existence will in some way inconvenience you.
So, basically, to hell with the victims of crimes. They should be forced to place their lives on hold and risk their health and their lives because some piece of shit can't keep his dick in his pants and feels he has the right to violate someone.
Gotcha.
I have noticed thtat those people, males in pareticular, who are anti-choice are also those who are against healthcare, support for the unemployed and poor, and anti-benefit.
Many I've encountered are also opposed to comprehensive sex education and access to birth control.
I think we as society can afford to provide health care for everyone. I have no problem whatsoever with the government hireing doctors and building hospitals so that anyone who wants health care can receive at no direct expense to themselves......but that is the subject of another thread and simply a tactic on your part to obfuscate.....presumably because you are losing the argument.
How a human being comes into existence is irrelevant. Suppose a criminal act resulted in both your conception and your mother being in a state of coma for 5 years. You are born. When you are 4 years old you mother wakes. Your existence causes your mother to relieve the trauma of the criminal act which created you. Does this give her the right to kill you? Of course not. The details of your conception are irrelevant to your right to a continued existence.
What you are doing by engaging is such arguments is trying to persuade people by appealing to their emotions instead of making a logical cogent argument. It is a tactic that sometimes works on the weak minded...but it will not work on me.
You will have to do better.
