Walmart reported over $17 billion in profits in 2012. That would amount to around $8,500 per worker, and it was profit that exists only because of the efforts of these workers. High-paid executives can't do everything. A huge chunk of that reported profit belonged to the workers, but they were only given little more than the bare minimum the company could get away with.
