We discuss our first world problems in this thread!
RE: We discuss our first world problems in this thread!
When my new smartphone (droid razrM) had a bizarre malfunction the second week I had it, tech support insisted on deleting all the apps I had put in it.

Year and a half later, I have never put another one in.

My smart phone stays paired with the OnStar in my Equinox when I am in the house. Somebody calls me, it only rings in the Equinox.

I have a DirecTV Genie with no clients, but it is connected to 3 other DirecTV HDDVRs, and an outboard off air tuner and all of them are old fashioned mirrored to all the TVs in my house (the other installers think that is profoundly weird)

It was also cheaper to bump up to DirecTV Premier tier instead of dropping Cinemax.

The guy who bought my old pickup (nearly 30 years old) was gob smacked it had no rust. No surprise there, it was a goddam Ford diesel and it never started under 40 degrees F. It had never been driven on a salted icy road, and I had never had it towed on one either. Therefore, no rust.

A problem I don't have:

I have 2 very fantastic, valuable and pristine Klipsch Cornwall speakers and 2 house cats that are not declawed. My secret: I'm a control freak and the kitties respect me and the speakers. One of the cats was feral for a year before rescue. He didn't have access to the speakers until I felt he was comfortable with 'da rules' here. The vet who cleaned him up when first captured, was amazed a year later at what a gentle and well behaved cat he had become. Wendel knows he has a great gig here and he ain't doing anything to mess it up. The other cat is a little more rambunctious, but a steely glance and a kurt 'NO!' from me is all it takes. Cats want guidance in their lives, or at least mine do, and they get it.
