From porn sites. Whoever wants to be a porn actor/actress can contact them and audition. I think that's how it works. Most of them are always looking for new models. However they are very picky with the emmm… size of the guys instrument.

If a profession is something that requires learning or special training then no, being a porn actor is not a profession.

Okay however the most common definition of profession that I've heard so far from others says that as long you get paid it's called a profession. Nevertheless this concept doesn't erase the elephant in the room about professionalism but okay I can clearly see your posture.

I think I watched a documentary once where all a guy had to do was fill in some forms, get STD tested and have a photo of himself taken.

I'm not saying porn actors or actresses are stupid, but as far as I know I think it's pretty much a fact you do not need to be professionally trained to act in porn.

However this doesn't overpass the fact that porn itself it's a very simple activity.

In fact some porn sites pride themselves in hiring new actresses who have never had any porn experience before and sometimes it's obviously a marketing tactic other times it seems like the actresses are genuinely new to making porn.

The entertainment industry it's alway looking for new faces.
