1) I have never known apologists to say, hey yea they're wrong but they're not the same denomination as me. The ones I've seen will defend any Christian religion down to the dumbest most ridiculous arguments.
2)you're missing my point that saying oh yea but they're Catholics and we are baptists so we're not the same is a really stupid argument.
Christian atrocities are Christian atrocities. They all use the same holy book to defend the terrible things they do.
Nope, Catholics have their own version of the Bible with 7 added books not found in the regular Bible.
Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach, and Baruch.
And when Protestants do horrible things they use the same damn holy book with less chapters to defend their actions. It is not their own version. It's the exact same version plus extra crap.
Muslims don't use the same book at all and saying, well yea they're evil bc they're Christians, but we are not bc we are Muslims is still a stupid argument. There is no defending atrocities. I don't care who the perpetrator is. I don't care if they're Protestants, Catholics, satanists, or anyone else who worships a deity. Killing illegitimate children is wrong(or letting them die due to your neglect), saying you killed then in the name of your specific flavor of sky monster does not excuse it.
