I used to use LostLocke's definition, but was informed that there could be other reasons besides the complete and utter lack of evidence for a god(s) existence. That is the main reason for most atheists, and me personally, but not for all atheists, apparently. Therefore I use the definition I used.

Don't worry about me being in the firing line of atheism, I have endured much worse in my lifetime, I have been mocked by my own family because of my beliefs, so atheist mocking is like a warming up

I was expanding on what Alice said; that you should've made your first thread in the Introduction sub-forum. Stupid beliefs deserve to be mocked, and if you can't separate yourself from your beliefs, then you will find it hard here.
