Because when someone's content to just enter into our space and, without even introducing themselves, launch into a series of wide ranging and only vaguely connected assertions, supplementing that with contextless diagrams that are nothing but assertions themselves with portentous imagery pasted over sciency stuff, well... what else do you want?

The guy was acting ridiculous, and hence he invited ridicule.

Wether he was right of wrong only wit people can understand his intelligent way of thinking.. and shallow people who think only "inside the box" can NEVER understand the yearning for the truth and knowledge.

I think we all understand the yearning. It's just that some of us also understand that the best way to obtain truth isn't to twist the evidence toward a given conclusion.

And I think we're at least willing to offer some modicum of respect to those who'd twist it competently, something the OP was not doing.

Even if you have different ideas .. you can still discuss and change knowledge without segregation and arrogance.

You should probably tell that to the OP: at least we regular members bothered to respond to him. I didn't exactly see the same courtesy being returned to us, and you're saying we were the ones unwilling to discuss things?

Honestly, this forum is full of threads, pages long, from people discussing ideas under the assumption that the discussion would be both ways, and not just a soapbox for some anonymous theist. The only way you could possibly characterize us as unwilling to discuss is by ignoring the majority of the boards. Get your head out of your ass.
