I'm from Qatar and I'm happy with that new law..

I hate you.

Actually when I first knew about it I said finally!

Yeah because in all human history there has been very few rules about clothes restriction.

It's important that the government seeks its people's wants and requirements.. and cares about their interests.

Is this to protect the government? Or to protect religion?

We were a great country with only few population and almost no crimes and no fornications..

An isolated community has low levels of deliquesce with or without the restriction of clothes. The people of many native American tribes(along with other regions in the world) and populations were very peaceful society with almost few internal problems and in some regions and islands they lived almost naked.

We were jus fine before the new projects and "more outsiders" to work in our country.

And it's because those outsiders that your country can prosper and survive so a little grateful won't hurt you.

Its not that we don't welcome people to be our guests.

Guests?…..then why do you still call the outsiders? That's a little insulting. Say tourists.

people who live here know how much we are friendly and good hosts.. Really good hosts

And what if your good guests don't like Islam?

My own maid is living the dream here.

Ohh yeah a maid that's dream come true.

I give her a great salary and I gave here free room, clothes and food.

And what will happen when her services are no long required or fulfilled?

And its against the law to treat your maid or worker with injustice ..
if he or she complained for the police .. you will be punished.

So basically you are just being good to save yourself not because you care about her.

But what happened is that some tourists and foreigns do not respect our traditions and religion.

If they don't respect the laws I care. But good luck trying to convince me to respect traditions and religion.

we don't force them to wear the hijaab.. No .. only not too short and "almost if they were going to the beach" style.

If you forbid the use of a list of clothes you are good hosts. But how well are you gonna take it if we forbid you the use if Hijab's when you visit our country? Are you still gonna think of me as a good host?

That was ok for many years .. no one told them what to wear.. But after the increasing adultery crimes and fornications .

You think that we will agree that adultery and fornication are crimes?

That made our society really had to live in.. "at least for us Qatari people" .. The government had to do something..

Yeah I can already see you in court. My spouse cheated me with another person your honor you have to do something immediately

And no one prevented them from living their lives or enjoying their freedom..

Then you admit that with this new laws they are not enjoying their freedom?

Only please you must care about us the hosts and be nice and wear something respectful.

Freedom is to do what you want as long as you don't affect other's freedom , otherwise it will become chaos.

And how does that has anything to do with what you just said? If people go to Qatar and they use little clothes how are they interfering with your freedom? Do you fear you are gonna be forced to dress like them? And if people are free to involved in another loving relationship how does that affect the freedom of their spouses to do the same? Isn't it better to commit adultery and get a divorce than to be forced to be part of a relationship that don't make you happy?
Because all you have said so far is:
Freedom is to do what you want as long as you don't affect other's religion and tradition.
