Very easy. So easy, in fact, that you must not have been thinking when you made your blithe comment: did the bees exist in the same environment as the bean? Or do you actually think that they both existed on separate planes of existence?

If they existed together, then one constituted a part of the environment of the other, and vice versa. Therefore, they were selection pressures to one another, and therefore, they co-evolved. Simple.

Or sky god danced around in a pink tutu sprinkling rocks with magic sparkling fairy dust turning them into bees and flowers that just happen to have DNA.

Yepp it is a hard choice...for the extremely mentally deranged..
