I don't know about this lady, but my mother had a lot of issues with truancy and such because my younger sister has allergy induced asthma and severe allergies to like everything. The thing that still always gets me is that my dad was never called by a truancy officer, never charged with anything, and never asked to show up in court to say why he wasn't making sure my sister was in school.
