Oh boy, this is just as delusional as a theist believing in a god. Humans evolved to seek out resources and will always compete for those resources. We are part of evolution and one species in evolution, but we are NOT above evolution.
Now while there is a selfish side of our species which you can rightfully point out, you should not be so delusional as to think all conflict can be avoided always on a planet of 7 billion. The only thing that is reasonable is to work to preventing monopolies of power and abuse of power.
Humans are diverse and will have different desires, you will not change that. But anything humans do both public and private, be it business, religion or politics, all require the same thing to grow, get power and maintain power. MONEY. Anything left to it's own devices can become abusive.
