In other words, don't fucking argue with me, argue with the assholes who read those same words and justify treating women like property. What's even more bizzarre to me is that, if I'm interpreting his religious stance right, he doesn't think the Koran is divine or that a God inspired it...since all 'god' ideas are metaphorical. Makes it even stranger that he's so adamantly trying to spin every verse into something he wants, when he can just as easily admit "They were wrong about this idea 1400 years ago, and I disagree with them", since humans are fallible and imperfect.
