What system did you used to decide that I am an infidel ?
From the Quran, an infidel is those who intentionally disobey the prohibitions in the Quran; ie. the "DO NOT"
both "Actus reus" (guilty action) and "mens reas" (guilty mind) must be existed; ie. the "iman" and "amal"
these two must existed before one can be an infidel
For example. . .
Quote:And DO NOT eat
of that on which Allah's name has not been mentioned
and that is most surely a transgression
and most surely the Shaitans suggest to their friends
that they should contend with you
and if you obey them
you (Muhammad) shall most surely be polytheists <- ie. Muhammad is not a Muslim
(6:121)
Muhammad is not a Muslim if he intentionally disobey one "simple prohibition" not to eat that on which Allah's name has not been mentioned
even though. . .
Quote:he believe in Allah . . .
. . . recite shahada perfectfully
. . . knows and speaks well in arabic
. . . perform salah
. . . pray in mosque
. . . pray every night to Allah
. . . perform hajj
. . . fasting for his entire life
. . . dzikr.. and never say bad things about people
. . . pay zakat and sadaqah all his property in the cause of Allah
. . . go to jihad and sacrifice himself to Allah
. . . study carefully all the revelations...
. . . and... bla... bla... bla...
. . . you name it, as one of the most righteous person ever lived...
Intentional disobedience, you're done. . not a Muslim.
Because Allah says "DO NOT"
and it doesn't matter small or big prohibitions...
It is also the same with Adam, "do not eat from this tree", they ate (unintentional). . done.
Because Muslim is about "obedience", Islam is a contract to obey Allah
Any intentional disobedience, is a breach of contract. . .they become the Munafiqoon or Mushrikeen etc.
Similarly. . . those who follow inconsistent hadith and against the rules in the Quran can be the infidels.
Quote:Say, "Bring forward your witnesses <- including through the alleged narrators
who will testify
that Allah has prohibited this."
And if they testify <- including by way of hadith
DO NOT testify with them
And DO NOT follow the desires of those who deny Our verses
and those who do not believe in the Hereafter
while they equate [others] with their Lord
(6:150)
