So if everyone practiced the teachings of religion, there would be no religion?

There will be peace and harmony, respecting other people and doing the right things, regardless of people's background and traditions etc.

It is the core teachings of every religion.

The main issue is not about religion, but because there are "hypocrites" in every religion, including atheism.

They say they believe in one thing, but they lie and never practice their belief.

That might be the single most naive/dishonest thing I've ever heard anyone say.
