Can karma be corrupted?
Except in strict sense of causality (if you drive drunk, you are likely to end up decorating the grill semi-truck) there is no such thing as karma. No cosmic or godly force punishes and rewards people for their immoral and moral actions.
If the idea of karma causes you to behave well towards for follow man, it's not such a bad idea. But if the idea of karma causes you to blame others for afflictions obviously not of their own making, than it is an inhumane and terrible idea.
The same is true of "you reap what you sow." It's a phrase that has no truth except in the sense of strict causality. And like karma, it can be used to justify turning away from people afflicted by troubles not of their own making.
I agree, but since the quesiton of the thread is "Karma, Real or Fake?" I'd at least assume the OP meant the spiritual/religious/magical version, since simple laws of causality and "be thoughtful about your actions" are pretty blatantly part of our lives.
