I don't really get harassed for my atheism, ever. I deal with the occasional "omg you don't believe in jesus? youre going to hell" krap but it's nothing new. lol

I think the way any minority WORLDWIDE is treated depends upon location and how open that person is and what the social norms of that location may be.

You atheists while better treated in the west still have stigmas attached to them. And we know areas of the world where apostasy and blasphemy are crimes.
