You are right. This is a secular place.
I was quoting O to show his stance.
He always elevates Islam, he stated the call to prayer of Muslims (the blaring horns from the minaret) is the prettiest sound he ever heard. (You have got to be kidding)
He has forbid Christian actions in the military and never says anything good about Christianity or Christians- only Islam gets that.
Yes, Islam and the U.S goes back a long way.
The very first war this country had as a nation was with Muslim pirates.
An old U.S. war song includes the lyrics; "From the shores of Tripoli..." was about that one.
The "Church" he attended until his leader got too hot to handle is a Black revolutionary establishment as akin to Christianity as a mosque.
O observes Ramadan, not Christmas.
Why would he? He was registered as a Muslim on the one document I am aware of, and which he released, which was genuine- a grade school record from Indonesia. A Catholic school which he could have gone to as a Catholic, yet attended as a Muslim.
One of the youtube vids that I put in my favorite list there, is by a NON Christian.
It is called- Phil Valentine on Obama (pts. 1 and 2. )
Phil does a taped presentation before a black audience of which he is a leader of some kind.
Phil seems to be annoyed that O has usurped the position of Malcolm X whom he admired greatly.
Phil asks the question- "Who is this ______?" to a sympathetic audience.
Their responses are noteworthy.
