Where do you order venison loin from? If I want venison around here, I can only get it from the woods in the fall.
I ordered it from the restaurant where the wife and I had lunch. Venison is farmed, here. You can find it on most mid- to upper-range restaurants, and a lot of grocers stock it. It's about the same price as better quality cuts of beef.
