Any predicting to be had? I recall it was third grade for me and I had nightmares of hell for a long time after. I'm dreading this more than the sex ed talk in a few years down the line.Surprised you haven't already talked about religions. Give your little girl all the information she asks for. Also read plenty of fun things to her, Aesops fables, Hans Christian Anderson, Roald Dhall, and stories from a childrens bible book let her see how similar the fantastic stories are. I let my kids make up their own minds which philosophy to follow they are well adjusted non religious adults. I remember my son arguing with his best friend, the ministers son about whether god existed or not. The ministers son believed in God but not Father Christmas whilst my son believed in Father Christmas but not God.
The biggest problem you will encounter is making sure your daughter remains included in your community. Peer pressure to conform is very strong and your daughter should not be made to feel different. Your daughters school friends religiously indoctrinated parents may find your daughter a threat to their children's upbringing and exclude her for example from Birthday parties. Or the opposite might happen and they will feel it their duty to bring "the word" to her. Which ever way you have interesting times ahead, this is the best years of your life when your kids are young. Enjoy.
