Be fair - you can't possibly know that. Aliens (if such exist) may very well be subject to the same foibles and false notions as human beings.

There are always an infinite number of ways to be wrong, and they are almost always mutually exclusive and mutually incomprehensible, lacking as they do a real shared foundation of reality. So those alien suffering from their foibles and false notions are exceeding unlikely to sympathize with humans suffering ours.

But there are very few ways to be right, since there is only one shared fundamental reality, and these ways are in principle mutually intelligible. So those aliens who are scientists will share a common language as our scientists, differing only by different degrees of mastery.
