That's not a purpose of Atheism. An Atheist can make that part of their life purpose, but it would be a subjective purpose, not an objective one.
Diablo I'm afraid MysticKnight is right. Atheism is the non belief in gods or the belief no gods exist, being an atheist doesn't mean you have to fight religion, it just means you don't believe in deities. There are atheists who think religion brings benefits and they might incentive, others won't care about fighting religion at all as long as it doesn't affect their lives.
