Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.

energy is not transferred with 100% efficiency during the cause/effect transaction due to entropy. that's why engine exhaust is hot, heat which is energy on the move hasn't been completely transferred to the effect.

After all these years you certainly would have thought that we'd be just as confident in our knowledge of everything as all those young earth Christians. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to make do with the few sure bits science has managed to conjure up. Can't blame those lucky fundamentalists who know everything just by virtue of their trust in a single book. If only we had the faith necessary to declare victory with so little effort. [/sarcasm]
science and scripture are in agreement. But even without scripture God is revealed to each person via the natural world and his/her consciousness. Everyone has an innate knowledge that their life will exist beyond the grave. Scripture gives more details. for instances, everyone will stand before Christ, the moral ruler of the universe, to give an account of their life.
Work done = kinetic energy + heat loss.
We still have cause = effect
