I'm willing to bet you would've heard more than a few exclamations of "DAMN!" if you'd been sitting in The Daily Show's script writing office when the news broke.
I'll be very surprised if he isn't on the Republican clown car next around. I'm not sure any political logic holds up anymore. He might get lots of sympathy as an asshole's martyr.
