I liked the first story, it is very touching especially for someone in the time of need that they were. My first instinct would be to assume that this is an odd occurrence. However, when you dig deeper you can find a reasonable explanation. At least describing key events and what not. I will say however my explanation will make some assumptions, however they are not unreasonable ones. I also, do not discount the fact that a deity could have in fact influenced this man, if said deity exists.

The reasonable explanation of the first scenario can be attributed to a phenomena called hyper-observation. This is commonly practiced by mentalists and people who perform interrogations. What hyper-observation is basically the ability to read micro expressions, notice key items on person or around said person, vocabulary and phrases a person says, and voice inflection and annunciation.

For example “He genuine scared me because I am usually very aware of my surroundings and he came from no where. I must of stood there with a shocked expression because He said, I didn't mean to scare you, but I was just released from prison and need your help. At that point I said to myself strike 3 sucker I'm out of here, but I must of blurted out something like, what do you need? He told me, "I need to get to so and so's house before my parole officer calls at 7, It's just a few miles away." I said ok, but I need to get some drinks because my uncle is expecting me.”

First of all notice the main character’s reaction to the look and demeanor of the “angel”, it is a typical distrust reaction to something abnormal. However, having an intimidating demeanor already gives the main character the unction to be very attentive to the individual in question. This then creates a social condition where the main character will be more attentive. Now the second move the “angel” does is something to gauge where the individual stands in terms of giving aid or not. He does this by stating he was out of jail, then follow up with a plea for help. I do not discount the fact this can be the truth. However, coming straight out with the honest truth is not accidental. With that phrase, we see the main character react as anyone would, huge amount of skeptics and caution. However, due to his religious convictions, he is compelled to help. This reaction as we see him blurting out “what do you need” gives a lot of information to the angel. There is a high probability that the only people whom would help like this would be a person of religion. Since Christianity is quite large in Korea compared to other religions it is safe to assume that the main character was in fact a Christian.

Now how he figured out there is some family issues. “I said ok, but I need to get some drinks because my uncle is expecting me” This phrase can lend a clue to what is happening in the life of the main character. It can assumed that due to the timing of going to see the uncle that A. Uncle is either sick or B. family problems with the main parents, or C. parents are dead and the uncle is the primary “parent”. Now he cannot assume much on this phrase alone however the rest can be ascertained later.

We find that he gave the ride to the angel. I do not know what kind of contents are in the truck described. But if there were any references to religion, notes, receipts, any items can give a strong indication of the current status and conditions of the main character. Now Since I was not witness here it is hard to say what the angel said. However, using universal words and phrases that can be interpreted on a subjective level can be used here. Which then can affect the perception of the message to be taken as a specific item. Being of a religious background and most likely needing some help, the simulated reality help warp what this angel said into being what he needed to hear.

That is one explanation I can use, it is in a nutshell however it is a common thing you can see being used and employed on youtube.

I noticed that you had to stay away from the actual specifics of the story in order to make you diagnosis actually fit.

Point one outside of sharing that i was going to my uncles house, and giving this guy my name, that is literally the last thing I said to him aloud. You also failed to address the specific problems he identified correctly that i was having with my Father. He went into my father's past and talked about things maybe 4 people left alive know about my father. He told me of my mother where she went. (And no, I don't look korean)

Not to mention you failed to address that this man was responding to my thought, addressed the content of silent prayers, and addressed my fears hopes and dreams with absolutly no word from me.

Again, for me this was as much 'proof' as I needed.

Now tell me honestly if you truly experienced something like this as i have described it would it be so easy for you to dismiss?

Looked at what you had to ignore in my account to make your diagnosis stick. What if your saw and heard these things for yourself?

I am nothing special, God did not offer me anything He has not offered the rest of you.

Here is a great example of the Simulacrum effect at work. Notice the phrase “I prayed this prayer with the attitude "no matter the cost" and I got what I prayed for”. Why did you get what you prayed for?

Because God is good.

It is conveniently answered below. While I have compassion to your blight, I must say you were already looking for something to hold on to. Often times during emotionally traumatizing events, we start to look for something outside ourselves to hang on to for strength. This effect with your mind already was effecting your perception of reality. This perception then is compounded by the fact when you prayed, your brain realized in order to survive it will need to manufacture the feelings so you can psychologically persevere.

In the order of events I prayed/knocked for the truth first. The 'blight' was the catylst that pushed me in the right direction.

My challenge is simple, had you not prayed this prayer I am sure the same result would have followed. It follows the same dynamic as having a “lucky coin” any positive events will attributed to that coin, however any negative outcomes will be ignored.

That is not how prayer works. Prayer is not a method used to persuade God nor a christian wish granting cermony. Prayer is a method used to help us seek God's will over our own. To change our heart and Mind to reflect His will for us.

If the second test showed i had HIV, then nothing would have changed, except how my story ends.

The last one was a dream, so I am sure it could have been many factors here. I to had a similar experience, however it seems to me that this dream is born out of several factors. The waiting in line is usually a feeling of dread. Most likely symbolic of something your sub-consciousness was struggling at the time with. Hard to determine without specifics of the life struggles at the time. The religious connotation is easily explained for being born in the West, the fact you saw your life flash before you most likely showing you had regrets during this period of time. Possibly unresolved moral or ethical dilemmas that contradicted your inner ego. Hell again could have been again your habit of self-torture or self-destructive mentality, I do it myself and sometimes the sub-conscious mind will use powerful symbols to portray these cognitive behaviors.

Anyway that is my ten cents.

again you are over looking content to speak in generalities. The content of the dream yield revelation that was supported by the bible before i knew what the bible actually said.
