Quote:I noticed that you had to stay away from the actual specifics of the story in order to make you diagnosis actually fit.I totally overlooked that part, not meaning too mind you. However with that said yea that would be strange, if it really did happen defiantly unexplainable. However, since it is anecdotal it hard to say.
Point one outside of sharing that i was going to my uncles house, and giving this guy my name, that is literally the last thing I said to him aloud. You also failed to address the specific problems he identified correctly that i was having with my Father. He went into my father's past and talked about things maybe 4 people left alive know about my father. He told me of my mother where she went. (And no, I don't look korean)
Not to mention you failed to address that this man was responding to my thought, addressed the content of silent prayers, and addressed my fears hopes and dreams with absolutely no word from me.
Again, for me this was as much 'proof' as I needed.
Now tell me honestly if you truly experienced something like this as i have described it would it be so easy for you to dismiss?
Looked at what you had to ignore in my account to make your diagnosis stick. What if your saw and heard these things for yourself?
I am nothing special, God did not offer me anything He has not offered the rest of you.
No it would not be easily explained, I have my parents experience similar situations. Even on situation where a car was moved during an accident. However, these only lead to more questions than answers. There are plenty of other answers one being he was really psychic, or he was an alien, or really good at cold reading or it is a made up story.”
God is good, from my experiences that opens up more worms than resolves them.
Quote:In the order of events I prayed/knocked for the truth first. The 'blight' was the catylst that pushed me in the right direction.
You underestimate the power of your sub-conscious mind and predisposition that might have occurred without your knowledge. However since it is in your head, then I cannot debate the feelings you felt were real. I believe to you they are real.
That is not how prayer works. Prayer is not a method used to persuade God nor a christian wish granting ceremony. Prayer is a method used to help us seek God's will over our own. To change our heart and Mind to reflect His will for us.
Quote:If the second test showed i had HIV, then nothing would have changed, except how my story ends.
That all depends on who you ask, to me prayer never worked but it always seemed to work for people who did not need it.

I appreciate your time to respond, do try to listen the best I can. I do not discount the fact that I have my own experiences that remain unexplainable to this day. We all are seeking truth, I just find the fact that if one wants something to be true, their brain will make it so. Oh yea I was using Freudian Psychology.
I would be a televangelist....but I have too much of a soul.
