Quote:Chrisman said he entered the home after Rodriguez resisted contact and pulled out his duty weapon to encourage Rodriguez to calm his dog. Virgillo’s version of events had Chrisman barging into the trailer after Rodriguez had asked for a warrant, with Chrisman putting his weapon to Rodriguez’s head and responding that the gun served as his warrant.
This fuckhead stormed into a guy's home, put a gun to his head, killed him and his dog and the jury could only decide on "aggravated assault." The only reason he got that was because his own partner testified against him.
Out here, Mexicans get no justice from the cops either. In fact, blacks are slightly ahead of them on the totem pole.
This is the bullshit I was alluding to in the other thread. A cop's duty weapon clears leather, there better be some goddamed justification for it. A civilian pulling a weapon without cause is going to get charged with brandishing - at least (as they damn well should). A cop? All in a day's work. We need to hold cops to higher standards, at least approaching those that civilians are held to.
