That explains why I can jump out of a window and fly when making the 'vroom' sound. Because the universe (and its laws) are not real.
If you do some thinking you will realize that most of the universe is an optical illusion.
The premise is that the universe is 13-14 billion years old because that's how long it took for the light from distant objects to reach us. Our Sun is about 4.5 billion years old. Stars are being formed and dying all the time. So it's safe to say that some, if not all, of the most distant objects that we see are no longer in existence. And if they no longer exist they are an optical illusion.
If you see a star forming at 4.5 billion light years from us it is completely different at this very second. So what you are seeing is not reality. Reality ceases to exist at a certain distance. Objects within our own solar system are within our sphere of reality because we see them in what passes for real time although the image of the Sun is 8 minutes old. The nearest star image other than the Sun is 4 years old. The farther you go the older the image and at some point the object will no longer exist even though you can still see its image.
So yes, most of the universe is simply an optical illusion because you can not say with any degree of certainty that what you see still exists.
At this very second the objects in the universe are completely different from what you see.
