So what sources or opinions would you accept to resolve a contradiction? Obviously not the one I posted of course, so naturally I'm interested.

I have read your post(I am not really sure what one you are talking about) and thought about them. Yes you have pointed out certain contradictions, i accept that, but ultimately the Bible is God's word, put on paper by men. So yes there will be mastakes at points. But I believe in it. I believe God created the earth, how he did it I don't really need to know. What I do need to know is that I have sinned and God sent his son to die for my sins and others. This has made me a changed person. He has done this for many more than just my self.

Aka "ignorance is bliss". If you want to believe in all this it's cool. I'm glad you've found something that resonates with you. But when called out on something you can't honestly think we'd accept 'god did it so it must be right because god did it'. Hence, again, Esquilax's question to you.
