Fucking Cops

Because cops -are- a huge portion of that problem. They are -one- of the armed factions in a needless war. They recieve massive amounts of funding specifically to engage in it and are judged in important ways based upon their performance in that manufactured conflict. You live in an affluent neighborhood. Doesn;t it seem strange to you that cops don't appear to be getting down and dirty in your neighborhood when they are getting down and dirty in poor - under-represented neighborhoods? Almost as if they're picking on people specifically -because- they expect little to no resistance from either them.......or you.

So you're saying that cops just don't crack down on neighborhoods that are more affluent? I get the manufactured conflict thing but I think that there's a necessity for keeping people off drugs. I don't think that it's solely an artificial crime (besides marijuana use). There may be some discretion between the neighborhoods they crack down on because those neighborhoods are easier to bust. I still think that keeping drugs off the street, for the most part is a good idea. I also said in my drug related thread I think legalizing some drugs with heavy regulations would be the solution.
