So, wait: you just got through telling us that the reason we're atheists is because we don't want to be held accountable to god, and then you proceed to tell us, without a trace of self awareness, that because you follow god, you... won't be held accountable to the punishment you think you deserve.
So, of the two pathways, which seems more efficacious to you: ignoring the problem, or doing the thing that would allow you not to be held accountable?
More importantly, what does the fact that I asked that question tell you? You're kinda crazy, so I'll just say it: it tells you that if I really did just want to avoid being held accountable, I'm well aware that there's a more effective means of doing that, by being a christian. So evidently, your thesis is wrong: I am aware that a better way to avoid being held accountable is to be a christian, and yet I am still an atheist. Therefore, what I want can't be to avoid accountability.
