I think the level of fundamentalist-type zeal is in proportion to the demands of the martyr chip and can be arranged on a scale accordingly. Zombo and his pals clearly have a desperate need to feel persecuted, most likely because they feel it strengthens their faith. Meaning that their faith is parasitically leeching not only off their minds, but ours too. It's truly sad when one's belief system is so weak and fragile, it can only be validated by the criticisms of others. It's like a person whose only human contact depends on a violent relationship, because that's the only way they can feel alive.
