Quite a jump from Hinduism to Catholicism!
For me, I can't say with certainty that a god does or does not exist but of the Abrahamic versions, I don't believe that is at all who or what he/it might be. It started for me (my disbelief in Christianity) when I realized that accepting the Bible and evolution, couldn't really happen. You might be interested to know that the RCC used to teach that Genesis wad to be taken literally but after Darwin came on the scene, it started to teach that Genesis was a mere allegory. Lol Changing God's word just like that? Hmmm. No, rather it was a bs story all along and now the RCC was confronted with the reality of that when the theory of evolution was introduced. Fundies teach Genesis as literal though.
I'm open to the idea of a god but don't feel that we "need" to know.
I'm curious, why are you interested in Catholicism? Likewise, no judgment.
Oh and welcome to AF!
