Re: the OP - like others before me, I never lost any faith. I never had any to lose. I've never come across a theistic argument yet that I find plausible, let alone compelling. As far as I can tell, the Universe works perfectly fine without a god at the tiller. So either a god is unnecessary or it operates in a way that makes a god appear unnecessary and hence irrelevant. Thus it can be cut out of the picture with no effect on reality.
