Quote:Cherry picking, suppressing evidence, or the fallacy of incomplete evidence is the act of pointing to individual cases or data that seem to confirm a particular position, while ignoring a significant portion of related cases or data that may contradict that position. It is a kind of fallacy of selective attention, the most common example of which is the confirmation bias. Cherry picking may be committed intentionally or unintentionally. This fallacy is a major problem in public debate.

I know you first heard about the fibonacci sequence in this thread, but do a Google search on it and you'll get 998,000 results. which one of those did i "cherry pick"?
The reason I used howstuffworks.com as a source is because it is not a website devoted to the fibonacci sequence.
interestingly enough, google search "fibonacci sequence real" = 468,000
google search "fibonacci sequence fake" = 52,400
Now who's the cherry picker? Hypocrite.
It's very telling that you and Jenny unknowingly reference the exact same website as debunking the fibonacci sequence.
Just because you find a few nut jobs that deny the holocaust, doesn't make them right, anymore than finding a few websites "debunking" the fibonacci sequence makes them right.
