Islam's main avenue of development is not in the parts of the world with the organization, wealth, productivity, and creativity to dominate the world. Islam would mainly make backward parts of the world, the washed up in the story of human progress, more of a hell hole. Human progress in science and understanding had not been led from where Islam can really thrive, human progress on the whole would not be severely hampered if Islam does the worst it is capable of in regions where it had potential to dominate.
Not so with Christianity. Christianity is not tamed, merely caged. It's ambition is undiminished. In the form of the United States, Christiainity does have the potential to dominate parts of the world with the organization, wealth, productivity, and creativity to dominate the world. Christainity could, and eagerly wish to, exert inflecnce on parts of the world which had led human progress in understandng and science. human progress on the whole would be severely hampered if Christianity does the worst it is capable of and wishes to do in regions where it had potential to dominate.
