St. Louis activists demonstrate after police shoot and kill 18-year-old

A police spokesperson said Myers ran away from the officer, before struggling with him and allegedly drawing a gun toward him, a claim several witnesses have disputed.

“He was unarmed,” Myers’ cousin, Teyonna Myers, told the Post-Dispatch. “He had a sandwich in his hand, and they thought it was a gun. It’s like Michael Brown all over again.”

So we have a bunch of cops who don't know the difference between a gun and a sandwich? Perhaps they were worried about the sodium content of the sandwich? That can be dangerous. They might develop high blood pressure but it would be a more impressive argument if they stopped eating every fucking donut in town.

Have to see how this one plays out. According to the cop the sandwich was a 9mm.

The officer and one of the three tussled. The teen ran off, then turned around and fired at least three shots at the officer, Dotson said.
The officer returned fire, killing the teen.
Police recovered a 9 mm handgun.
